1. About The REUZE Foundation
The REUZE Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the circular economy and accelerating innovation by providing access to donated high-tech equipment, while reducing waste and strain on natural resources. TRF is powered by a strategic partnership with REUZEit.
2. Donated Equipment & Claims
Items listed on the Site are donated goods made available for claim by researchers, startups, educators, nonprofits, and innovators. Claiming an item does not constitute a retail purchase of new goods. Availability is limited and items are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to verify eligibility, limit quantities, or decline any claim at our discretion.
3. Shipping & Handling
While equipment is donated at no cost, recipients are currently responsible for shipping and handling charges required to pick up, package, ship, and deliver the equipment. These charges are calculated at checkout. Our long-term goal is to cover these costs through donation-funded shipping grants.
4. “As-Is” Condition & No Warranty
All donated equipment is provided strictly on an “as-is” and “where-is” basis. Some items may be non-functional, for parts only, or require repair, as noted in each listing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TRF makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You are responsible for inspecting, testing, installing, and safely operating any equipment you receive.
5. Donations
Monetary donations to TRF are voluntary and, where applicable, may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor. Purchases made through partner stores (for example, books, apparel, or brand merchandise) support the Foundation but are fulfilled by third-party providers under their own terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of The REUZE Foundation or its partners and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute Site content without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TRF and its partners, officers, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or any equipment claimed through it.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
