The REUZE Foundation (TRF) exists to accelerate the success of entrepreneurs, inventors, and startups by reducing the costs and barriers to innovation. We champion a circular economy mindset, maximizing the useful life of resources, minimizing waste, and advancing sustainable practices that protect our world.
By providing access to essential tools, and supporting a circular ecosystem, we empower innovators to create solutions that drive economic growth, strengthen communities, and build a cleaner, more resilient future.
About
The REUZE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers entrepreneurs, inventors, and startups by donating high-tech equipment that would otherwise be discarded. By lowering the cost of innovation and expanding access to critical tools, TRF promotes sustainable growth, fuels discovery, and strengthens communities—advancing a more inclusive and circular economy.
TRF is powered by a strategic partnership with REUZEit, the industry-leading Circular Equipment Management platform serving Fortune 500 clients like ThermoFisher, Gilead, Moderna, Illumina, and Abbott. Through REUZEit’s AI-driven platform, high-value surplus equipment is rescued from landfills and redistributed for continued use.
Instead of becoming waste, these tools are donated via TRF and featured on REUZEfoundation.org, giving researchers, startups, educators, and nonprofits access to instruments that can transform their work. Together, The REUZE Foundation and REUZEit are unlocking innovation, saving resources, and creating a more sustainable future for all.
How YOU can help?
Even though the equipment TRF distributes is donated, getting it into the hands of innovators takes real resources. Every microscope, freezer, or spectrometer we divert from a landfill must be picked up, packaged, shipped, and delivered—requiring crates, pallets, straps, trucks, labor, and logistics.
Today, recipients of our donated equipment are responsible only for shipping and handling costs. But our goal is bigger: we want to fully cover these costs through donation-funded shipping grants, so innovators can focus entirely on building the future—not covering freight bills.
